Capital Connections is an annual conference for single members and friends of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints over the age of 31. We gather in the nation’s Capital to meet new friends and followers of Christ, find joy and strength in shared experiences, and discover new spiritual and personal insights.
This year, the theme is "Upon This Rock: Fortifying Foundations of Faith and Friendship." While we are all rooted upon the Rock that is Christ, we acknowledge that our individual foundations thereon are uniquely crafted.
Just as the Washington Monument was built of marble from various locations over numerous years, who we are is formed by various experiences, influences, and challenges over our lifetimes. Together, these determine how we are situated upon the Restored Gospel. This June, we will celebrate our diverse foundations and seek to fortify the same in new and energizing ways.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Singles conferences in Washington DC have always been about making new connections in fun and creative ways. This year, activities will be tailored to facilitate attendees in meeting people in their age range.

Opening Social
Kick off the conference by spending the evening at the illustrious National Harbor! Sign-up early to grab a pre-conference meal with other singles at one of the 40 various restaurants located in the Harbor. Afterwards, join us under the pavilion to check-in for the conference, have some delicious ice cream, and participate in some fun activities such as speed dating and group scavenger hunts while getting know your fellow participants in the conference. For even more excitement, grab a new friend and ascend into the sky on the Capitol Wheel to take in the stunning views of the area, or take a water taxi on the Potomac River. Don't miss this!
